California School Directory – The California School Directory contains information about all California public schools, private schools, nonpublic nonsectarian schools, school districts, and county offices of education. The search feature below allows users to search for educational agencies in California by county, district, name, county-district-school (CDS) code, city, zip code, type, or status.

California School Employees Association – The California School Employees Association is the largest classified school employees union in the United States, representing 220,000 school support staff throughout California.

California State Employees Association – The largest classified school employees union in the United States. CSEA represents more than 190000 public employees in California.

Cal/OSHA Program – The Cal/OSHA Program is responsible for enforcing California laws and regulations pertaining to workplace safety and health and for providing assistance to employers and workers about workplace safety and health issues.

Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS) is a dynamic center for teacher education, research, and curriculum development in preK–12 science and math education.

Library of Congress – Bringing the power of primary sources into the classroom. The Teaching with Primary Sources Program builds partnerships with educational organizations to support effective instruction using primary sources.

Medieval Art and Architecture This site was created by Dr. M. Alison Stone who teaches medieval art and architecture, iconography and paleography at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has complied a nice mixture of art and architecture of the medieval period.

National Council of Teachers of Mathematics – Providing online materials that illuminate the vision for school mathematics set forth in Principles and Standards for School Mathematics, Curriculum Focal Points for Prekindergarten through Grade 8 Mathematics, and Focus in High School Mathematics: Reasoning and Sense Making.

NANA Resources for Local School Wellness Policies on Nutrition and Physical Activity – The National Alliance for Nutrition and Activity (NANA) advocates national policies and programs to promote healthy eating and physical activity to help reduce the illnesses, disabilities, premature deaths, and costs caused by diet- and inactivity-related diseases such as heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity.

National Education Association – NEA serves a variety of distinct groups of education professionals. More than a half million Education Support Professional (ESP) members take care of our children every day and make sure they have the tools they need to succeed in our schools and classrooms.

PBS Activity Packs for Teachers – Explore educational resources and activities from PBS with our library of Activity Packs. Each one focuses on a curricular theme and includes links to great PBS resources and supplemental activities.

P.E. Central – A site for health & physical education teachers, parents and students. Our goal is to provide the latest information about developmentally appropriate physical education programs for children. To motivate, we offer fun kids fitness programs such as Log It and the PEC Challenge. We have over 1800 published lesson ideas.

THE Journal is dedicated to informing and educating K-12 senior-level district and school administrators, technologists, and tech-savvy educators within districts, schools, and classrooms to improve and advance the learning process through the use of technology. Launched in 1972, THE Journal was the first magazine to cover education technology.

Weather World 2010 – Developed by the Department of Atmospheric Sciences (DAS) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), WW2010 (the weather world 2010 project) is a framework for integrating current and archived weather data with multimedia instructional resources using new and innovative technologies. To ensure the greatest possible accuracy of our instructional resources, all materials have been reviewed and edited by professors and scientists from the Department of Atmospheric Sciences (DAS) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and the Illinois State Water Survey.
